Is there any new imortant starship info in the new encyclopedia? I know it's out, but won't be here in good ol' Moose Jaw, Sask for at least eight years [I just moved from Ottawa, too. Imagine that culture shock.]

In response to your question: No. I'm lucky. I live just outside of a major city, so I get everything. Why just last night I rented Starfleet Command...

Moose Jaw. Constable Benton Fraser on the TV show "Due South" had been previously assigned to Moose Jaw, but he couldn't adapt to city life, so he was transfered back to the Yukon. He was then transfered to Chicago. This has been another "Useless Fact".

Oh yes. Canada definately rules. Did you know that there was a nuclear missle launching point here in New Brunswick during the Cold War? Another "useless fact". Anyways, ever hear of the Excelsior class NCC-42111? Well, it has a name: the U.S.S. Frederickson. That's about all I can remember. Also, the ShirKahr and the Nautilis were in it. Nothing new about them, though.

Oh yes, Canada most certainly rules. I saw one of the Bomarc missiles at the Aviation museum in Ottawa. It's such a shame we gave up the Arrow Project. That would've kicked some serious ass.
Hmm...the Frederickson? The new Encyc doesn't sound that great. Is it worth spending my well earned allowance dollars for it?

Speaking of Canada, I was just there this summer in Ontario, i wenr on a canoeing trip based out of Anticoh, Ontario. We took no water and the water that we did use ws from the rivers, so the water isnt dirty up there like here in the US. Anyone from that area or been there, it is just north of Minnesota!
Oh ya im from the US!

Sol: I have the second edition, and I feel obsessively-compulsed to buy this new edition. But, it's not really a big deal.
As for Canada: Has anyone seen the episode of 'The daily show' where they're airing in Canada for the first time? The one with Tom Green? Man, that was gut-bustingly funny. "A small logging town in northern Ontario." Heehee.

The only parts of Canada I've ever seen were a bit of Vancouver Island and a bit up north of Waterton International Peace Park. Verra nice place. There's a good bakery (or at least there was) in Cardston. The majority of the residents there are Mormons (though I think it isn't the same LDS crowd you'll find in Utah). We asked several people where we could find a bakery and got huffy answers from women who were insulted that we couldn't see by looking at them that they did all their own baking and couldn't possibly know where a bakery was. Finally someone took pity on us and pointed us in the right direction.

Baloo: I apologise on behalf of those crabby old ladies, and hope it didn't turn you against the #1 country in the world to live in. [Some official poll-thing said so.]
Did anyone offer you a ride on their dogsleds? Did you see anyone's Igloos? I'm just kidding, We don't ride dogsleds. We're much more advanced than that. We have Skidoos.
