Well, I think its tng "Redemption"...
There is a shot of the enterprise leaving and following is a nebula-class, a constellation-class and...what else? Im just curious, its been awhile since I saw the episode.

If you mean in "Redemption part II" where the fleet is seen gathering for the Romulan blockade, your right. There is also just a glimpse of the Ambassador model painted up as the Excalibur to the right of the screen before the scene fades.

There's an Ambassador inthere too. Even if we don't see it, Riker's ship, the Excalibur was an Ambassador.

Read through the Starship Chart in the Encyclopedia. The descriptions will tell you all the ships that participated in the Tachyon Grid. Also look under "Tachyon Grid". It'll probably list them all there too.

So, its an ambassador I can see to the right in this pic:

I took this pic awhile back, anyone got a better one, where one sees the ambassador better?

In the encyclopedia there is a image showing all the ships in the blockade. It is one of the sensor displays that was shown on the enterprise tactical console.

It's too bad we don't see more of the Ambassador - and also a big relief. We saw a view of the entire Excalibur in the form of recycled footage from "Yesterday's Enterprise", with distinct features like unpainted ramscoop domes, narrow secondary hull stern etc. If this new footage of an Ambassador showed the modernized ship, with painted ramscoops and reworked hull, there would be a contradiction. Or then there would be two different Ambassador class ships in the fleet, and the screen display wouldn't mention the second one.

Note that there are only 17 ships on the tachyon grid display, even though the fleet consisted of 23 according to the dialogue. The second, more modern Ambassador (if the model really *has* been modified at this point of making the show) could be one of the missing six ships.

Is the screengrab from the end of "Redemption I" the very best view we have of the new Ambassador footage, or would there be half a second more material? It would be nice to see if the impulse engine of the ship becomes visible. A modernized ship would have a red engine, while the original had blue...

Well, if there were six ships not on the display, I guess that Consteallation isn't a problem anymore, either...

Is it Frank who does the nice screen grabs that seem to have more on the sides than the normal tv pics?

So, after 10 mins of trying to get a good image, I realise I already went through this exercise a few months ago:
