I was watching "field of fire" the other day and I noticed that on Chu'lak's service record, it says that his first assignment was as an Ensign in 2355 onboard the U.S.S. Strata, a Geo-Terraforming vessel commanded by Captian Jason Stone. Now what I would like to know is, is this considered a official or canon ship?

I noticed this ship during the first airing. There was some more information on the screen too, but I don't remember what...

I wouldn't hav thought that it would be a nova-class, not if it was around in 2355.

Reverend: you must have either the eyes of a hawk, or the remote control for a DVD player or a really really good video player.
How can a starship terraform, BTW?

Hmmm maybe the starship is essentially a big phaser with nacelles and a science section... maybe it turns the crust of the planet into molten rock!?! A scaled down version of the Genesis device?
