Where does the name Zandura come from anyway?

Jaeger's email address is available, but it's been tried in the past without getting any response.

As for Zandura, a quick search reveals it to be part of the name of a Christian band, Fold Zandura. Logic suggests it must mean something beyond that, unless the band simply made it up, which is possible, as I want to name my band The Amazing Zefferdephers.

However, as there appears to be no actual ship design to attach this name to, perhaps we could guess at the context a bit better by knowing where the name came from in the first place?

The name came from a Christian band, and StReamrunner for that matter was a song on one of those Christian band CDs. Unfortunately, the r was somehow dropped in a spelling error and the ship was approved as Steamrunner, which Jaeger says is kinda cool in its own way, a high-tech low-tech combination.

As for that chunk of debris, I found a pic of it at pIn'a' Sov's website and here it is:

Hmm. Looks to me like it could easily come from a Steamrunner.

From looking at what Akira and Steamrunner schematics I have and comparing the locations of all the arrowhead decals, I don't think it could be either an Akira or a Steamrunner. It could be a Zandura class and the only piece of evidence that it does exist in the Trek universe even though we don't have a complete design.

All of the FC ships have those escape pods, except the Saber. (And possibly the Norway. I'm not even sure whether it was detailed enough to have any escape pods.)

To me, I believe it is the bottom of the Steamrunner...

But are the Steamrunner's pods really that big in comparison to the forward shuttlebay?

Jello all. I don't think it could be a Steamrunner. Steamrunner's have a large notch in the front, this ship has no notch. I say that it must be this Zandura Class.

I wonder, could this maybe, just maybe be part of the "Sovereignized" Nebula Class like U.S.S. Endeavor. I know they only made one pass at it, and that was only a sketch, but maybe they decided to make that little peice of debris the Endeavor. The Endeavor was to be Sovereign like, this peice of debris has Sovereign Escape pods. The sketch shows the saucer to be completly round, this peice of debris is rounded (atleast what we see). This is all highly unlikly, but not impossible.

Well, the escape pods don't make it Sovvy-related. The Akira and Steamrunner both had that type of escape pod.
