The battlecruiser in ST:VI was called the Kronos One by Gorkon. Is this the actual name or a name of honor, like Air Force One? Was it a normal battlecruiser and when the chancellor decided to ride on it, they designated it Kronos One?
After all Kronos is the photonical (sp?) spelling of Qo'nous (sp?), the Klingon homeworld.....

Ah, but what is "One" the phonetic equivalent of?
Without knowing my Klingonese, I'll just throw a guess or two:
1) "One" might be phonetically close enough to a Klingon word like "Cliff beast". The ship could then be named "Cliff beast of the Homeworld", and the UTs would be fooled.
2) Similarly, "One" could be phonetical for a proper name.
3) The word for "Pride" could be similar to (or the same as) the word for "First". The ship could be named "Pride of the Homeworld" but the UTs would do a slightly faulty translation, using the synonym to "Pride/First" in a misleading way.
4) Perhaps Gorkon was just saying "This one ship is from Qo'noS"? Or even "I am the One from Qo'noS"!

Although it wasn't ever addressed specifically, the general tone of the film made me assume that the title was an "Air Force One" type of honorific. However, it's one that we haven't seen repeated since. Then again, we haven't really seen that sort of situation again. The only times we've seen the Klingon Chancellor on a ship was either during a civil war, when you'd probably want to depend on your House's vessels rather than the Empire's, and during a major conflict, when being on the equivalent of an aircraft carrier makes more sense than being on a 747.
Perhaps, were we to ever see a Chancellor on a diplomatic mission again, the Kronos One title might get brought back.
