1. Build a model of your design.

2. On the model's stand, make a little plaque with the class and name of your ship.

3. Take photos of your model as evidence.

4. With model in hand, sneak onto Paramount lot using brilliantly forged I.D. badge (you can probably buy one of these at a convention somewhere).

5. Locate either the Voyager or the Enterprise-E ready room set.

6. Place model in a location that's inconspicuous enough that the film crew won't notice, but not so inconspicuous that it won't show up in the filming.

7. Sneak out of Paramount lot.

8. Watch the next episode of Voyager or the next movie to see your model's appearance in the ready room.

...And, voila! Instant canon!
