I like that filter you have used on them - is that just a simple blur or soften? What filter is that - it makes the ships seem more realistic - not so artificially crisp like a lot of CGI is.
Good work.
Which program did you use?
Happy posting!

I've seen the Federation ship and the first Rommie ship before on other boards and like them both alot.
I dig the details like the three green lights on the bottom of the Rommie ships's hull. They look to be surrouding a drop bay or something of the sort.
the programs i used are povray for rendering, moray for modelling and paint shop pro (with a set of image alterations like noise, color adjustment, blurring...) for post processing.

Great stuff, but: in the future, please keep the in-line images limited to just one or two per page, out of pity for those of us with skinny info-pipes.

Spiffikeen! The Fed ship is a nice small design for TNG era, but the registry needs to be updated for the time period. Just add a "70" to the registry's start. The rommie works for TMP, TNG and DS9. Any idea as to ship lengths-rommie in particular.

Wow, they look so good... any chance you can convert them into Armada 2 ships?
