Sweet! It's been a while since I bought a model... if I have some cash available, I just may get that one this summer.

The model of the 1701 that I have currently was made when I was 13 years old or so -- I've got a bit of a steadier hand now. [Wink]

YOu've got no excuse: It'll only be ten bucks. [Wink]

I said it before, I'll say it again. . . You guys are spoiled. I would have killed to have kits of this quality - hell, ANY easily-available Star Trek kits - back when I used to build models. And much as I'd like to maybe come out of retirement for the sake of a good desktop display-model (of the Nil or the E, no contest) I must always remember: I have cats.

Mmmmmmmm.... new styrene model kits.....

Would you look at the detail on those nacelles. And how cool is that? They're including parts to make either the pilot or production verion of the ship. These guys are cool.

For only 10 bucks, I'll buy two or three and make some of the other Connie offshoots.

Actually, production and TWO different pilot versions... Basically, if you buy one kit, you will have the parts for another set of nacelles left over, plus a spare bridge and impulse housing and...etc.

And it's being developed by Thomas Sasser, the MOST anal modeler there is [Eek!]

"Anal" is synonymous with "obsessively detail-oriented," which is a pretty common characteristic on this board. But, for someone developing kit of our beloved Enterprise, I wouldn't want it any other way.
