One way or another there has to be some sort of "Sisko resurrection"...theres some sort of unexplainable void looming in the meantime...
ST Writer 1: We want to bring back Sisko at some point, don't we? ST Writer 2: Yeah, but Enterprise is set before DS9. ST Writer 1: But don't the wormhole aliens exist outside linear time? ST Writer 2: Are you thinking what I'm thinking? ST Writer 1: Let's do it!
And so was born ENT "Emissary".

We all know that the ENT writers read this forum for our suggestions of "what would be the worst things ever to happen on Enterprise" and write episodes based on them.
To ENT writers: I want to be credited on the Sisko episode.

Hmm, missed this reply last time I looked in this thread...

Well yeah... that's why some of us started what we originally called (rather naively, at the time -- hey, it was on the Trek BBS!) "Series VI." That story has since matured to become "Star Trek: Renaissance" -- the link's in my signature.
One of the major points of the story is to explore the possible consequences of the Dominion War for the Federation. 'Course, our story's not nearly as optimistic as classic Trek storylines generally go. That's not necessarily a bad thing, of course -- just not everyone's cup of tea.
