Did you base your design off the Prometheus Class since it looks similar to it.

Yes, I used it for reference, and because the double saucer design looks cool with Prometheus parts.
The part in between the saucers is also wedge-shaped, but the main saucers are wider.

I'm working on a way to make it a 5-part 'multi vector assault ship'. This includes relocating the main nacelle struts, and a radical new nacelle-deployment system for the middle part (think: the Prometheus nacelle-deployment meets Skipray Blastboat rotating wings).
If that doesn't work out, I'll stay with a 3-part ship.
