I've just finished a model of the cutaway version Enterprise. I did it as a full build as the cutaway components were not very good. I was kind of rushing to get it done for a model show/contest so I cut some corners... (and I ended up missing the deadline anyway). I didn't weather it and since it's so cold here now, I can't use my airbrush so it was fairly quickly painted. I only accurized it a little and I made my own markings in Illustrator so I chose to name it the USS Potemkin.

Ya call that a starship, laddie?! Sure she's a pretty model, but she's FAR too big!

Far too big!? It's only 22"long my 2500 scale friend...just wait a little longer. A friend who has built a 7' long Enterprise will soon have pictures on the MSFM site. Now that's a model you actually have to walk around to see it all! It's 1/130 scale by the way!
