I am just totally ashamed that for 20 years I never noticed those domes. I am just ashamed. My obnly defense is they're much less noticable in the films. Forgive me!

Still, out of all the ships, the A is just the most beautiful of all of them, IMHO. and the D is a very close second. Incredible. Geek porn! [Smile]

I know the pic you mean, and yes, the domes there are still properly blue, but it's not the TMP Enterprise. It's probably the one MagiCam built before Wise took over...there are many differences:

It's so beautiful though... and you can see the lovely pearlescent panelling.

Yes the aft view pic. It's not the seen-on-screen TMP version Enterprise. That's for sure.
