I've decided I'm going to do a much higher level of detail version of the Intrepid on "Enterprise".
Here is where I am so far. I'm starting with the warp field stabilizer, and have gotten to the point where I have to decide between the straight aft edge (left) and the slightly curved outward aft edge (right).

Hmm, well it's hard to tell based on just a small part. The color scheme looks like it might be a little dark, but otherwise it looks like it'll be pretty good.

It's straight. Screencaps are subject to distortion based on viewing angle, quality, etc. The model created obviously takes many peoces directly (or with little modification) from the NX-01, and it is straight.

Y'know, I don't think he was asking which way the real model looks. Obviously, we're not going to figure that out from blurry screencaps. I think he just wanted to know which version looked better.

Nah, if you make it curved you throw off the warp field geometry. This is pre-TOS, they don't have variable warp field geometries yet. If you were to curve that, you'd wind up dragging a huge volume of extra subspace ripples with you, creating huge subspace vortices slowing down the ship. It's straight.

Oh? I thought he WAS asking which was more accurate...
