I'm a little bit lost here Fabrux what exactly constitutes spamming on this board? I can't see what I've done wrong - I saw something that greatly impressed me and I thought I'd let you guys know about it. Is linking to another site spamming? I thought it was blatant advertising of one's own work? like I said - I can't see if I've done anything wrong - but if I have please clarify so that I don't do it again - the tone seems to be a bit *anti-me* at the moment - but then again I could just be paranoid!

So one cannot link to anothers site then? or if the title had been

that would have been acceptable? You'll have to excuse my ignorance as this is the first time I've been chastised for somehting like this on any board - I don't mean that in a derogative way - after all it's your board and your rules and I can respect that.

Fabio was not intending to spam the forum, but the way he made his announcement certainly could have been done with a more "restrained" approach, granted...

Yes Brown - my intention was purely to let people see this guys work - which in my op' is an excellent effort - I had no ulterior motives I even forwarded his effort to a few people in professional Companies and they were impressed as well.
In my eagerness to share it with poeple I unknowingly worded my subject line the wrong way - ignorance on my part as to the rules of this particular board - a matter which has now been resolved.
However - you steal anything of mine without my permission and I will contact Charles and ask him to pursue the matter - Mine was a crime of ignorance - you are making a threat

Fabio: I agree you neither spammed nor did you intend to do so. But you made made three mistakes: 1. You chose the wrong words for the thread title. They sound like spam indeed. 2. You capitalized every letter. Spammer's style. 3. The entry itself sounded like spam too, since you didn't tell what it was about. (3a. You should have warned of the huge image.) I am sorry my computer is not the newest
