Here's some competition for Necromancer... These were drawn by my best friend Nathan McFarlane. He recently aquired a computer, but he doesn't have the internet and probably won't for a long time. So, here are some examples. The first one is Harley Quinn from the animated Batman series and the second is Mirith Sinn from the Star Wars: Crimson Empire comic book series.

Pencil does scan well depending on what dpi and lead type you use. For instance i use a dense .7 lead and scan at 150 dpi. this allows for a better looking scan.
I like the second one, the first is too faded to make a determination.

Actually, the first one isn't faded at all. I had to adjust the Hue/Saturation/Shadow to get it like that. Nathan uses a plethera of art pencils, and I don't know what resolution I scanned at....

Um the second pic - breast-o-licious! Just a qualm - her right arms looks broken! A compound fracture - nearly ow! nice work.
And get your friends 'arse' into gear - there is nothing really stopping him from getting on the 'net - just get a cheap modem and cheap deal - I'm sure with all those '150 hours' free deals out there he could clock up about a free year!
