San Francisco Class

The San Francisco Class Warship pushes the envelope of the mass/weaponary ratio. She's only got a crew of 20, and very small. It's profile is extremly thin, making her a hard target to hit. Centralization is key to this design. Weapons at the front, engines at the back, and sensors in the pod. There is another sub-class of this, called the Alameda, which only varies in that there is no pod, and the nacelles are redesigned. In total, only 6 were built (though 1 was actually destroyed while under construction).

Superior Class

This is the Superior Class Perimater Action Vessel, in 3 of it's forms. The top is the original form, as launched soon after the Constitution Class. The second is her form after her refit in the 2270s. The third form is a batch that was built later on to serve as destroyers. The top two are the more prominant ones. They features a standard Constitution saucer and a large neck with a single nacelle at the bottom. the torpedo launchers are located at the very bottom of this neck where the nacelle meets the hull. A small deflector dish protrudes from the front of the neck. A shuttlebay is built into the back of the neck. The roof of the shuttlebay forms into the ship's inpulse engines assembly. The refit version has one minor difference. Dual pulse phasers (similar to the Miranda Roll-bar phasers) were added to either side. The 3rd version, at the bottom, features a shorter neck. From the bottom of this neck, there are actually two nacelles. A longer lip on teh shuttlebay has been added since these ships carry more fighters then shuttlecraft. This ship also has the capability to seperate in an emergency situation, though it cannot attach. The seperation line runs along the same deck the shuttlebay is on.
