There were a couple requests for a copule new shots of my New Orleans ship. So here they are. Hope you guys like them.

The side.
The front.
And the top.

If you want to see all the whole page on it, it's at http://www.onlyinla.com/~fructose/models/honshu/honshu.html

Hm... I was hoping to find that the real side view of the ship was better-looking than all the diagrams suggest. Unfortunately, it's still ugly from that angle... *L*

Oh, well. At least it looks good from all other directions...

Yeah, that's how things go. But even the most beautiful supermodel probably looks pretty bad if you had to look up her nose.

Very nice...

How about that... the captain's quarters on the NO class only has two windows!

But four lifepods!

Actually, the window patterns of the bridge area don't quite match the Encyclopedia pictures - the Encyc. ship has a nice sextet of big windows just forward of the bridge oval, a possible location for Captain's Quarters on this ship.

The New Orleans is like the Nova class, its best when not viewed at the side views.

Actually, I don't mind the Nova's side view, but the fore and aft views are horrible. The secondary hull looks too fat compared with the rest of the ship.

I know I messed up a few of the details, but I was trying to not be too anal. I just wanted the ship.

I don't mind the tiny details that might be wrong. I'm very happy that we have a precise reproduction of the ship's appearance - and that it's a real quality work!
