Where did you find a Galaxy Class and Excesior model kit???? I thought AMT stopped making them.

Just because they aren't making them anymore doesn't mean you can't still find them on the shelves of modeling stores. Hell, I found an Original Enterprise model last year, and I think they stopped making those something like 10 years ago.

That's a terrific looking ship built with only a minimal amount of information. If only Miarecki would have been more thorough and taken photos of his original models!

About the naming of ships: I've always wished that Starfleet (i.e. TPTB) would name more ships with alien-sounding names to reflect the other 149 Federation planets besides Earth.

My Galaxy parts comes from a model I've had for 10 years and I got the Excelsior some time last year. I buy them all online through a place that specializes in out of production kits. The original Ent-A model is going for like $90 now days, just to let you know the deal you got on it.
