The File of EvilnessMeet the bane of my existence.
Perhaps I should explain. Remember Distant Horizon, the nifty sci-fi project headed by Frank? And, if so, remember that I'm making a pretty nifty RPG set in the Distant Horizon universe?
Well, whether you remember or not, I am. Unfortunately, I've run into a bit of nastiness. At the beginning of the summer, I had to transfer all the game's files over to this computer, as my previous computer was pretty much falling apart. No problem, except for the fact that I forgot to transfer over the plotscripting file, which contains all the instructions for the neat movie-like parts. That was bad. Very bad.
So, after a few months of being too exasperated to reconstruct the file, I finally got around to rewriting every single command. So, the next phase was to convert the file and plug it into the game using the game-making program I've been using. Everything worked pretty much, except for the fact that I forgot a few commands, so I went back, put them in, and plugged the updated file into the game.
Eek. Every change I make winds up working nowhere near correct. I have come to the conclusion that the file has somehow become corrupted from the conversions, even though the text seems unaffected. I've tried copying and pasting the text into new files. No good. The entire file needs to be retyped, and I am way too fed up with it to do so in forseeable future.
Therefore, I ask this: Would someone please please please retype this text file for me? I really can't offer you much else than being in the game's credits when it is finally finished, but I will be very grateful.
