FEDERATION DESIGNS:
BALTIC SEA CLASS
My take on a movie-era cargo tug, which instead of having the large cylindrical cargo modules merely attach to the bottom of the neck, they attach to the beck end of the engineering hull, where the deflector dish is. The long part sticking out the back serves as a structural spine to the cargo modules.

BOGUE CLASS
This is my idea for an escort carrier, sort of designed to serve the same purpose as the Defiant but use a small number of fighter craft instead of normal weapons for attack. She's roughly twice the size of the Defiant, and has a through-deck design. (Ignore the Mustang Development Logo on the page, it's old and useless)

HERTZ CLASS
This is a sensor/communications-jamming frigate, based off the "Lancer" class (it was never drawn). The ship is very basic, and only a small handful are built for jamming duties. This class replaces the Gypsy Sub-Class of Shiloh Frigates.

ILLUSTRIOUS CLASS
Made as a simple cruiser of medium size, this design lead to a revolution for me in starship design. Her superstructure is built on an overlapping design, which opens up room for some things that would normally be located elsewhere.

INDEPENDENCE CLASS
A small explorer that also used my "engineering hull on top" idea, yet in a more natural arrangement. The saucer is dominated by a superstructure, and the engineering hull is rather small.

KEPLAR CLASS
This class was built as one of the first science-only starships in the fleet. Erandi Sub-Class vessels feature added hull in the back for more scientific equipment, as well as a "sideways thru-deck shuttlebay". This class also featured the first sensor-palettes put in the lip of the saucer

MUSTANG CLASS
The Mustang class escort is intended to perform escort duties, but be built from the lessons learned from Defiant. She is designed to lead battle fleets as well as freighter fleets, and is well equipped for both situations.

ODIN CLASS
A small planetary monitor, designed to stay within a few lightyears of it's assigned system, these ships are fast at impulse and very powerful. She not only has the torpedo launchers that face forward and back at the base of the neck, but a phaser cannon cluster as well. This ship is meant as a variant of the Superior Class

REVOLUTION CLASS
Nicknamed "The New Excelsior", this design is intended to be a vision of the next generation of Starfleet vessels. This starship could be called a "concept", for it's radical thinking is not likely to immediatly be put to use. Following design developments, the saucer has grown larger in comparison to the engineering hull, and is more aerodynamic for warp flight. Her nacelles, instead of being out on pylons, are tucked in behind the saucer and are protected not only from weapons attack, but warp stress.

SAN FRANCISCO CLASS
This design is an even smaller version of the Defiant, and is used more for planetary defense then large space battles. She is heavily armed and extremely agile because of her fighter-like attributes. An Alameda Sub-Class is also being built, which uses less weaponary for less key planets.

SHILOH CLASS
The Shiloh Class Frigate is the precursor to the Miranda class of the movie era, with dozens of these ships being built for general purpose use. There are multiple variants of this class, which include the Oracle (deep-space sensor ship), Nelson (Shiloh's with aft hull-extensions), and Salvations (Hospital variant of Nelsons).

(little thing, the picture calls this the Gypsy Class and only has 1 ship. The other designs are yet to be scanned, and Gypsy class was the original name for the Oracle Sub-Class)

SHOOTING STAR CLASS
This class is a no non-sense, no frills starship designed to get somewhere, and get there fast. Her entire hull is built around the large, single nacelle, and she is minimally protected by weaponary. A small number of these would be built for use in times when messages or small cargo of the utmost importance needed delivery

SUPERIOR CLASS
This class is a large number of perimeter action vessels, with nearly ever starship of the class spread out along the Federation's borders, mostly in key tactical points. The Everest Sub-Class is merely a refit of the original class, with weapons upgrades like the dual phaser cannons added to the top of the neck. The Huron II Sub-Class adds a 2nd nacelle to the design, for these ships are used along the deepest reaches of Federation territory. Multiple equipment on the neck is repositioned, and due to the threat of breach from the more powerful core, this is the only Superior class which is capable of seperation, at the top of the neck.

TITAN CLASS
This superscout is designed to go deep into areas of space where a normal explorer wouldn't risk itself and a warship wouldn't risk galactic war. She's able to defend herself if needed, and uses a massive superstructure to hold more crew and equipment (there is a top and side view as well)

WASHINGTON CLASS
OK, laugh... This was my 3rd Starship design ever! It was only preceeded by the Jupiter and Asimov, but this was the first starship design I did that wasn't based on Voyager. Also ignore all the wrong crap that's on it. Anyway, the Washington was meant as a precursor to the Constellation class, as a deep-space explorer. She uses 3 nacelles instead of the standardized 4 that later came on the Constellation.

NON-FEDERATION DESIGNS:
FERENGI GOLNAR CLASS
This starship is designed as the "Defiant" of the Ferengi fleet. She's small, powerful, fast, and agile. With all these abilities, it's no surprise the Ferengi use her as a blockade runner as well as a general scare tactic against freighter fleets. She features a detachable small craft on the nose of the center section that can be used to check on areas where the whole ship can't go. She has multiple cargo bays, as well as an unlisted amount of secret bays used for getting past authorities.

SYNIA FLEET
These are four starship classes currently used by the Synia, a race I created. They are designated as battlecruiser, attack cruiser, cruiser, and scout respectivly. They are insect-like in their design, and yet very flat. The multiple sections overlap one another, and weapons are strategically placed throughout. Each ship in the fleet is also brightly painted with elegant designs, which help identify single ships.

FEDERATION DESIGNS:
ARCHANGEL CLASS
This is an experimental project in the use of starships for use by Starfleet Marines for plantary assault. The ship is basically a stripped-down Defiant class with large arms holding her two weapons pods on the side. These pods rotate on their axis nearly a full 360 degrees, allowing the ship to remain in orbit and attack ground targets with pinpoint accuracy. The weapons, when locked in forward or reverse positions, can be used to defend the ship.

DAUNTLESS CLASS
This is another class of ship used for planetary assault. Basically an enlarged runabout, her entire bottom side is flat, including the nacelles attached directly to the body of the ship. This allows the ship to land, and be used as a ground-based command center for troops when uses a base in plantary orbit may be dangerous.

FURIOUS CLASS
This design is based off John Eaves' early design for the Holoship in Star Trek: Insurrection. She is intended as a larger replacement for the Miranda class, and includes the large weapons pod that bolsters it's power. A large shuttlebay dominates the front end, while almost all other equipment is protected by the pod and it's pylons.

KNIGHT CLASS
This starship is a slimed down Defiant, to be used for courier duties through hostile territory. She is small and agile, and features an almost-full shuttlebay, unlike the Defiant. Her nacelles are larger for her to be able to reach farther distances.

LIBERATOR CLASS
This is another mini-Defiant, designed for planetary protection. She has the weaponary of a Defiant, but the agility of a Danube runabout. The pod on top can be swapped for different missions.

ST. LAWRENCE CLASS
This movie-era scout ship is light and is equipped with the minimum of non-required systems for scouting duties. The Yellowstone Sub-Class features a deep-space probing pod and tucked in nacelles.

NON-FEDERATION DESIGNS:
COLONIAL VESSEL
This vessel isn't from any race in particular, I merely drew it for a brief idea for a story. She'smeant to be very massive, a multi-generational ship. She has multiple pieces of her spiking out from the main area of the hull, and some sections overlap each other.

TERRAN ALLIANCE MUSTANG TYPE SPEEDSTER
This is a vessel from the 24th century of the Mirror Universe, for use by the Terran Resistance as a smuggling vessel and a fighter craft. She can outmaneuver most Cardassian/Klingon Alliance ships, and her cataraman hull is used for carrying small, valuable pieces of cargo. The central section is able to seperate from the side pieces in case of emergency, and has it's own fusion rocket to evade.

ROMULAN TALISEK CLASS
This class is built as the most modern version of the classic Romulan Bird-of-Prey. Man of her design elements come from other, larger Romulan designs. Her basic body design hasn't evolved much since the 2270s when this style was created.

By the way, is that six torpedo launchers I see there?

And the Titan actually isn't Akira influenced (you'll see when I scan the side and top views). Basically, she's a Miranda-ized Galaxy, but instead of having the roll-bar and weapons pod, she has this dual superstructure, which by the way, was never intended to ever have a pod in the middle of it.

But yes, you can see 6 forward facing torpedo launchers. Unfortunaly, what you can't see, is that the back end of the nacelles (not drawn in) features 2 more torpedo launchers, giving the Titan a total of 8 launchers.

Originally, she was only going to have 4 forward facing launchers, with 2 in the normal position under the deflector and 2 put into the superstructure, but then I came up with the idea of widening the nacelle pylons, so I could fit extra equipment in there.

Sorry that a lot of these aren't actually finished. I usually get a fresh and new idea before I'm done with the current one I'm working on, so I abandon in midway. That, or, I can't get the mirrored half of the ship to look identical to the original half, so I just leave it in "rough sketch form". Whenever I know I have something right, I "hard line" it (AKA: Darken the lines really hard so they are no longer erasable)

FEDERATION DESIGNS:
AVENGER CLASS
This design is an idea in the evolution of starship, using new and advanced design ideas. The saucer section is split, and morphed directly into the engineering hull. The overhang around the bridge houses torpedo launchers, as well as in the pod.

BIHLMAN CLASS
This starship is one of the earliest explorers in Starfleet (although this picture is of the refit version). She is based off the Oberth class, and is the predecessor to the design of the Shiloh and Miranda class.

CORIDAN CLASS
This class of destroyer is among the largest builds ever done by Starfleet, with each ship in the class named after member worlds of the Federation. The Coridan Sub-Class features more sensor equipment, the Altair Sub-Class features new nacelle design for higher speed, the Betazed Sub-Class features two pods for added weaponary, and the Setlik Sub-Class (not pictured) is a modification of the USS Setlik used for weapons testing by Starfleet R&D.

REPRISAL CLASS
This small 4-nacelled destroyer features a split saucer design to allow for better weapons postioning. She is extremly light and capable of getting to situations in a hurry due to her 4-nacelle design.

NON-FEDERATION DESIGNS:
SKI'A'NA ATTACK CRUISER
This is the first of my two Ski'a'na species designs, sort of based off the Jem'Hadar and the Son'a. Her weapon designs are extremly powerful, and she even has an extremly reinforced nose section capable of ramming and punctering the hull of starships. Her hull forms a triad shape, with the two bottom sections angling farther back then the top section, with each housing powerful impulse engines.

SKI'A'NA FIGHTER
This small vessel's design is dominated by her large nacelles, allowing her to be independent from a mother ship at a further distance then most fightercraft of equal technology. Her weapons are equal to that of larger vessels, and she also includes small ramming horns similar to the attack cruiser.
