Just a taster of some of the work that's going into Utopia Planitia 3, which we're promised will, one day, see the, er, light of day. It's also the last image I'm ever going to do for it, as I've done more than my fair share; if anyone here would like to volunteer, please speak to Charles or Krenim, and see what wonders and mysteries lie within the UP3 Forum! There's even a girl that likes Star Trek tech there. . . 8)
I'm also required to point out that the above image remains the property of UP3, and can't be used anywhere else, sorry.

Terrific drawing, but something's bothering me (not about the picture, but the design). Just where do the Enterprise's phasers shoot out of? Especially on the dorsal part of the saucer? They have to come from somewhere, because we saw the phasers fire in 'Broken Bow."
The only places I can see would be either those two small "doors" on each side of the bridge, or on those two wierd doohickeys on the top of each catamaran (which the Akira also has, but which most likely performs a different function).

Sol: I felt like saying "phaser" instead of "phaser-like directed energy beam." So sue me.

I may have to re-watch my tape again, but I swear I saw the Enterprise fire a phaser-like beam from the dorsal saucer when it was being attacked by the Suliban ships.
