(walks in out a absence)
Hi.

I am trying to find a half decent image program, one that beats out paint, and can do curved text, (starship registries)and shading (like going from light grey to dark grey). I am looking at Adobe 8, (I think) is there any others you would reccomend that I can download off of TUcows or somewhere?

I fiddle with 3d max, which cost more than my car, by far....

Photoshop 6, when it was at the reduced price....

and Paint shop pro, something low, as it is a bundle package I bought sometime ago...

well, illustrator is on version 10, so you probably don't want 8.

There be CorelDRAW/Photo-Paint. Not sure how it stacks up with the others since I haven't spent that much time...cross-comparing.

Good luck downloading it though.

PSP7 can definitely do the things you mentioned. As for d/l'ing it, that's a different matter entirely.

I prefer Photoshop (in combination with Illustrator) to Paintshop and CorelDraw. It's a matter of taste... generally based on the program you're able to find first [Smile]

Uh, which program you talking about? Did you get one of the ones suggested? Or did you download a demo?

Photoshop is good too. I have 7.0 and I know people who will give 9.0 tobe if they'd let be burn it.
