The nacelle, as I picture it, looks like it would be paired with a Constitution/Ambassador style secondary hull. Kinda plumb and round, yet graceful with nice curves.
The saucer looks like it would be paired with an Excelsior style secondary hull. Kinda long and slender with more hard lines and edges to it than a Constitution type secondary hull.
How about a secondary hull with an upside down trapezoidal cross section? The bottom could slide upwards a little before going into the classic aft undercut. There could be a greebling or some on the top-middle of the secondary hull where the pylons split off and sweep down and forward.

I understand what your saying.
I'll probably make the nacelles longer, and as for the secondary hull, sorta a mix of the Enterprise B type with the Enterprise C hull. I know that makes no sense, but still....

Make the whole ship complete with details or even a rough draft and show us it. Then we make comments some good some bad, you change it so everyone likes it.
But that's just me.
