The first cast photos have been released, and it seems that the continual change in the gang's threads is getting even wackier. Shep is seen in the same black SGC BDUs at the end of the previous season, and Teyla and Ronon have more of the same sort of threads. McKay has a leather jacket of his own now, even shinier than the one Shep had last year. New Arrival Carter has the same kind of jacket, but wierd rough & tumble pants and boots to go with it!
Also, it's an absolutely horrible photoshop paste job!

Leather *is* the future, man. I wonder if those accoutrments (sp? sue me) are at all inspired in-universe by any of the other cultures they've met? For some reason Samantha's outfit reminds me of Tollan fashion.

I rather like McKay's outfit. Shep's boots look stupid. It looks like he forgot to lace them up. I really dig Carter's new hair do. Sexy. And yes, the quality of that Photoshop work is horrendous. Didn't the "artist" notice that everything is reflecting on the floor except the elements that he haphazardly dropped into place?
We also get our first detailed look at the new standard uniform jackets, at least the one worn by Keller. We know Sam gets one too, and hopefully the rest of the gang will follow suit. I miss the days of actual UNIFORMS on this show... In season 3, pretty much everyone wore whatever they wanted.

That's not Photoshop- the actors had to forefit their reflections and shadows as a good-faith clause in their contracts.
Also, that pic of Jason Momoa looks like something from the LeBare posters we print at my work- homo-erotic pinup photography lives at Gateworld.

So, Carter's all business (no classic Carter grinning), Ronin gets more ink, and Kaylee is... what... a doctor?
Grrr... mustn't... read... spoilers. I just got season 3 in the mail and have just started disk 2.
Makes me wonder though: When does "The Ark of Truth" take place? Before or after Season 4 of Atlantis? If it's before, there's no problem with Carter. If it's after, they're going to have to figure out a way to get her back from her duties on Atlantis. Not that that'd be hard. I hop eit takes place before S4, though. Leaving at the height of the Ori conflict doesn't sound like Carter.

THe trailer ad for Arc of Truth is on the SGA season 4 DVD's. I just finished the season (with my hot neighbor Carrie popping by each night for a new disk- seriously- she watched a disk a night- then blamed me for her being tired at work the next day). $$$SPOILERS FOR ABAN$$$
I cried like a Carson when Carson died- that end scene with McKay was painful to watch (and it showed how HUGE those piers are!).
