The few eps I saw on Sci-Fi were pretty good, although I haven't seen it for a while. Apparently they tried tacking on a character a short ways in, and the characters started losing depth. I have no idea what state it's in now.

Short answer, no with an if. Long answer, yes with a but. Ok, so I stole that.
Anyway, Farscape is...different. The moment I first saw it I thought "Hey, Jim Henson!" It's certainly got a unique look, and that's where the yes comes from. The no has to do with a series of generally unrewarding plots and some questionable characters. But maybe I'm still carrying a grudge towards the Sci-Fi Channel.
If anything, the show reminds me of Red Dwarf. I mean, one human and a couple other misfits trapped far away from home on a huge ship. And the human's name is Kryten. That's how it sounds, anyway, I don't know how it's spelled. They even have skutters. Not that the show is meant to be a comedy. But there's just something about the feel of the thing.

Actually, its the one show that I look forward to watching on Scifi...granted, I haven't seen it in a long time, but of the first season, it does have promise. Some of the stories are confusing if you don't know the backstory, but otherwise I find it pretty good.

Farscape is awsome. It is filmed near where I live in Sydney so I get to see some of the sets, It is different to other series out there...the only drawback is the Muppet. I cant stand Rigel..just looking at him reminds me it is just a show..he destroys the reality.
If you want to see a great site showcasing farscape with pictures, cast notes and episode guides..check out http://www.fsf.com.au/farscape It has a lot of good info
