I am not sure if you checked out the sci fi podcast The Leviathan Chronicles.. you can download the episodes free on the website (Link Removed) or their facebook page Leviathan Chronicles.. Below is some information on the characters and a interview with Christof Laputka the creator of The Leviathan Chronicles.

EVANGELINE LEIFREIK (Cynthia Pierce) - Evangeline Leifreik was born in the high fjord country of Norway. At an early age, her intellect and spiritual awareness were recognized by her village elders and she was groomed to become a shaman and leader of her tribe. The Valkyrie tribes flourished under Evangeline's leadership and realized many advancements in herbal medicine and natural science.
JASON STERLING (Jon Freda) - Jason Sterling is the leader of one of the twenty doors comprise the Blackdoor Group. His ambition is matched only by his ruthlessness in achieving his own goals. Very little is known about his past. Sterling has been watching the power of the immortals grow over the last ten years. He is one of the only humans to know of their existence. He knows that their technology is significantly more advanced. He knows that they control a significant portion of the world's money supply. He views it as his mission to bring the immortals down so that they can be controlled... or eliminated.
MACALLAN ORSEL (Liz Craynon) - Macallan Orsel is a young genetic scientist working in New York City. She discovers that her family is descended from a group of immortals. She also learns that an astonishing secret has been hiddin in her DNA, that if activated could bring peace to the civil war that has waged among immortals for centuries. But the same secret also makes her a deadly target by those who are threatened by her potential.
SEINSHUN (Christof Laputka) - Seinshun is one of the younger immortals at less than 400 years old. He is also Macallan's great-great-great grandfather. In the 1800's, Seinshun began a separatist movement against the Eden Initiative. He felt that Evangeline had grown drunk with power and no longer embodied the ideals of the Eden Initiative. Her efforts to increase her control over the lives of her fellow immortals led Seinshun to conduct an attack on Evangeline. But the attack failed and Seinshun inadvertently released a virus into Leviathan City, which killed over one-third of the immortal population.
WHITT ROBERTS (Tom Falcone) - Whitney (Whitt) Roberts graduated from Georgetown University Magna Cum Laude with dual degrees in Chemistry and Advanced Mathematics. He was hired directly out of college to work in the CIA Cryptography Department. He spent nine years monitoring encrypted communications between third world countries. After attracting the attention of Jason Sterling, Whitt was "actively recruited" to work within the Blackdoor Group. Most of his work is comprised of clandestine fieldwork conducted on the behalf of Jason Sterling. Whitt has developed a specialty of devising deadly poisons and serums that he frequently utilizes to advance the interests of the Blackdoor Group.
JEFFERY TULLEY (Matt Shale) - Jeffery Tulley is the captain of the treasure hunting vessel, Hail Mary. Before Macallan found him, Tulley was actively searching for a Spanish galleon called the Elando Cortez that reportedly contained over $300 million of silver bullion. Tulley began his relationship with the sea as a teenager when he enrolled at Scipps Institution of Oceanography for a degree in Marine Science. But he dropped out of school after two years to care for his father, who was critically injured in a warehouse accident. After obtaining his captain's license at twenty-five, he sailed several yachts for wealthy clients, traveling throughout the Caribbean and tropical waters. For the last nine years, Tulley served as first mate onboard Historical Explorations, a state of the art treasure hunting operation based out of Anchorage, Alaska. After a falling out with the ship's captain, Tulley decided to use what meager funds he had to start his own operation with his best friend, Oberlin St. Clair. Tulley also owes the Japanese Yakuza more than a quarter million dollars.
