At least we know they'll make it back, since they're the three most likable people on the ship.

Likable? I find Chloe completely uninteresting (she's pretty much just The Pretty Chick, she even gets abducted and rescued like a pretty princess should!) and Scott mostly uninteresting with a bit of whining thrown in on top. (Waah waah, I was gonna be a priest but I knocked up a girl so I signed on to shoot people instead...what, that's logical...) Anyway...Rush is more likable than Chloe and Scott put together; at least he has some complexity.
Eli's cool though

I also wonder how many episodes will pass before Eli, Chloe, and Scott make it back to Destiny.
Furlings!?!

So exactly how far out is Destiny at this point? And when did it leave Earth? Would it even be possible for for any of the advanced races we've heard about to have made it as far out as Destiny is?
Even if they're a dozen galaxies away, Asgard ships seemed to have the ability to transverse galaxies in a matter of hours...

She's not even pretty, though! TJ is way hotter. And Lt. James is even hotter still.

Yeah, don't care for Chloe. Presumably the trio will reactivate the crashed fishy ship and travel back to the Destiny.

I did think it was a nice twist with the gate activating and then-- it's Rush. Young giving Chloe and Eli a hard time was good. The away team getting trapped in catacombs was corny corncheese. The decision to blow up the entrance was preposterous. But then I liked Green's performance as a young man with his father in the hospital.

I don't think they know exactly. Somewhere between hundreds of thousands and millions according to Rush, which is a bloody big margin. Still, the ship is going very slow compared to ships with hyperdrives so it's possible a Milkyway race or the Asgard to have gotten out this far.
As for the ruins, I like to think the spiders are the native inhabitants and they've been trying to greet them and show them the exit but they keep getting shot at.

Fabrux: Agreed on James' count.
bX: That was good wasn't it? I also liked when he was digging himself out; it was actually a pretty creepy moment, imagining myself crushed in between rocks and desperately trying to move.
