a friend of mine is a big anne mcaffrey fan, and she has heard about some animated cartoons which have been created based on some of mcaffrey's work.
this hasn't reached our country on TV and I was wondering if anyone knows about this, has copies, knows where we can purchase these, or has MPEGs or AVIs, etc???
I would be much indebted to anyone who can provide me any info..

I was asking who Anne Mc-whoever was, so that maybe I could help.

my apologies, I mistook your post for either sarcasm or just plain flame bait, not the genuine interest in wanting to assist.
Anne McAffrey is the author of many novels centering around dragons and a world called Pern. Some of these books have been turned into graphic novels as well. I don't know too much about it myself as I don't read her books, it's my friend who is the fan.
But she says the title of the cartoon may be something to do with dragonriders.

I was going to post the IGN link, but was beaten to it. I have a friend who likes her, and is interesting in the TV thing too.
If he has anymore information, I'll pass it along.
