So, anyone have any comments or musings on these episodes? Rush is getting easier and easier to dislike. He's becoming like Baltar, only without any redeeming qualities...

Yeah, that's about the only thing I took away from those episodes. They weren't terrible or anything, it's just there was nothing specifically cool or likable, and now I just plain hate Rush. I guess they finally decided he was a bad guy and threw the ambiguity out the window (oh well - couldn't keep it forever).

Oh I don't know, Rush's motivations are still a mystery so I wouldn't call him unredeemable exactly. At least the ship is trying to talk him round and he did try to get everyone home.
Camile on the other hand is being written with something approaching a soul. It's taken a while for her to come out of her shell but she's getting there.

Yeah, the scene with her girlfriend talking about missing *her* face and voice, and their subsequent 'make-up' of sorts (I wouldn't really call it a fight) was very moving and I thought it was acted mostly well. Made me actually feel something for the characters, which is kind of a rarity for me on this show. It was very real.
