I would agree that the long break didn't help. I wonder if Sci-Fi figured that BSG was still a success with 6-12 month breaks so would Caprica.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure by that point they had already given up on it and decided to basically dump it in a dead timeslot. As far as I know, Sky don't even plan to air the second half of the season over here. I think it's safe to say the show was not exactly highly thought of by the broadcasters.

I wonder then how SGU is doing in the Tuesday time slot as well. Last time I checked it wasn't doing too well either, but not as badly as Caprica.
