What was the final body count anyway? I know one of the squaddies that he shot was a semi-regular but I can't remember what his name was and if he was one of the three that made it. Aside from Rush's & Eli's respective squeezes I don't think any other characters were killed off.
Still they did a good job of cranking up the tension to make you think that just about anyone could die in this one. Loved that Rush (a physicist with an attitude problem) managed to track and kill an experienced, proficient and ruthless killer when a dozen trained soldiers got their arses shot off.
Also, I'm glad to see Eli's apparantly gotten over being Chloe's bitch.

The music near the end reminded me of Battlestar Galactica.
I think it was cheap of them to get us all happy that Eli found someone just to kill her off in the very next episode.

Aside from Ginn, I think "only" two soldiers died. One pronounced dead in the corridor and another died in the infirmary.
And here I thought they were leading towards a Maquis style integration of those Lucian guys. I'll bet that the remaining ones aren't sticking around either now.

I think he also killed his own guard but that may have been one in the infirmary. I thought it somewhat amusing that Eli was channeling some Rush on the bridge. There may be some ego/animosity over dead hoochie/rebellion against the man crap starting between those two. I certainly hope so.
I kind of think this series is starting to lose focus from the "Wrong people, wrong place, Oh Crap" theme. While I can understand the alien issue, the whole Lucian Alliance crap to me shows that they think they have to have some "Bad Dude" to make the story compelling. If this follows suit with SG-1 and SG-A, then they will escalate the baddies each season. That is getting tired. Based on the personnel not supposedly being the "The Right STuff", this makes their continued success ridiculous.
