So during Iso, I decided to start watching Avenue 5. I’m up to episode 5. I’m beginning to really like it. It’s by the same guy who did “The Thick of It” so it has - kinda - that humour. The sets are amazing. It’s off-beat and a different concept to a lot of sci-Fi and sci-fi comedies out there. Curious for some non-spoilerish opinions. Anyone else watched it? What do you think of it?

Sorry I missed this; yes, I watched the first season and really enjoyed it. I'm eagerly looking forward to a second season, but it's been over two years, so I'm losing hope.
I liked it. It’s a slow burner, sure. I’m not really convinced about Josh Gad and his Jack Black impression. But I love that it has John Finnemore playing a shuttle pilot (his radio comedy sketch show is great, his radio sitcom Cabin Pressure - starring a pre-fame Benedict Cumberbatch - was terrific, and he’s go-written the second season of Good Omens with Neil Gaiman. Plus me and my eldest went to see his 2019 tour and had a great evening). And the way Daisy May Cooper gets into the airlock out of sheer peer pressure and then says “Actually I’ve changed my mi-“ before freezing solid had me hooting like a loon.
