Battlestar Galactica's evil Count Baltar dead

TORONTO -- The man best known as Lorne Greene's nemesis in Battlestar Galactica has died.

John Colicos was a distinguished and versatile actor, equally at home on the classical stage and in the movies.

Colicos, who died Monday at age 71, was born in Toronto but grew up in Montreal, where he made his acting debut playing Jesus in a biblical pageant.
