The Star Trek method: Copy/Paste

The Star Wars method: Start in the middle.

The Babylon 5 method:
- Record every episode in widescreen format.
- First show them in standard format.
- Wait a few years.
- Then show them in the original widescreen format.

Absolutely BRILLIANT!

Unfortunately I don't get any channel that's airing the widescreen episodes

"Aww, now why'd you have to go and say a stoopid thing like that?" he said, smiling.
Too late, Jimmy Pissant knew he had slipped up and wen't for the gun but Old Fagsmile was way ahead of him.

It took a couple of minutes for the gunsmoke to clear, but it was worth it. "Ha! I win!" the old man belched, (what?) and in came the Guv'nah, flowers in hand and foot on splean. "My God, man!!! Do you want tea??" he said, grinning like an idiot.

And soforth. Allright I'm sorry, but it was to hot in the car.

*scratches head*

It does look mighty fine in widescreen, though.

You really have got to see this series from the beginning, or else you miss out on several important things.

Or, alternatively, you have to watch about 2 episodes from season 1, the first couple of season 2, then you can skip ahead to "Coming of Shadows" and watch from there. And there's still a few season 2 you can skip. And a fair portion of season 5. About 92% worth.

And if you watch "In the Beginning" (which was the best of the 4 movies) you can skip one of those season 1 eps.

Still a contender for most influential sci-fi show of the 90s. Future genre people will be quoting it as inspiration for years to come. Doesn't change the fact that season 5 was mostly bollocks, and it was watched by less people than Voyager. If Voyager was shown at 3 in the morning. On a Monday. And sports were on the other side. Naked sports.

If might have got more if Sinclair had had a Minbari soul. But then he slept with Delenn and lost it, beconing Sinclairus. Who shocked everyone by being charismatic. And occasionally moving his face too.
