I recently found the original intro movie done for the Predator in the game; the little sequence where it shows the Marine then the 3 red tracking lasers crawl up him and then pans off, and we see the Predator use it's cannon to kill the Marine off camera. In this version, if you can stomach it, you'll see why it was not used and replaced with what we see. Warning: Graphic and uncensored gore. The original movie shows the Predator's plasma caster/shoulder cannon actually impacting on the hapless Marine's skull. http://www.avpnews.com/files/media/movies/predatorintro.avi this download requires the DIVX codec btw if you don't have it, then I will soon be making a slightly lesser quality (and larger file size) version in mpeg format as soon as I can get the damned thing to convert properly for regular players.
