Yeah, especially after just moving the show to a new time slot. Still, I'm not too sad about this, because it is, after all, a show by Brannon Braga. And from what I saw of it, it wasn't that much better than any of the previous stuff he was pushing in years past.
And after this gem of an article, I've got no sympathy for the man whatsoever. He's clueless, his stories are crap, his characters are transparent, and he has no concept of the fact that if the fans don't like his work, they'll stop watching it. Which is exactly what killed Enterprise in the end.

Sounds like they did not finish shooting the season even.
Huh.

Too bad. It had a good cast, with the exception of the dopey freelance mercenary agent guy, the one with the blonde hair; and its gimmick was interesting, though they've sort of floundered around with it, and not quite hit on how to actually use it. Anyway, I'm not going to miss it much. (In fact, I've mostly been missing it, since for some bizarre reason I've found myself with the occasional thing to do on Friday nights.)
Anti-Braga rants just make me more likely to catch what he does next.
(One problem with Threshold, and a criticism that I'm stealing from others, is that it looks identical to every other show on CBS. It is like CSI with aliens, minus the zooms inside the human body. So I guess it looks like Without A Trace. But, anyway, the visual style did nothing to set it apart. Compare that to Surface, which is utterly ridiculous, and yet filmed very cinematically. ((Not to say that Threshold wasn't immune to ridiculous, or even more ridiculous than not; just that Surface is, like, oh man, sea monsters and let's dig a hole to the earth's core! And yet I've caught every episode. It makes for a good match with the equally unbelievable yet strangely compelling Prison Break, which is on after it, though on a different network. I mean, for those who don't know (((or care))).)))
I can't wrap my mind around the alleged connection to Firefly, though, beyond: shows which get low ratings get cancelled.
[Also cancelled, though in the "this is the last season" sense and not the "please clean out your desk and then let security escort you to the parking lot" sense: Alias.]

You know....I've not seen TV in five months now and it really sounds like I've missed nothing.
Netflix, books, newspapers, going out when not working- muuuuch better.

Yes, but what is worth watching now? "Lost" I hear is good, but that's on DVD now anyway (season one at least).

At least Becker's still on. I like Threshold despite its slow advancement. :/
