Putting it here because..well, why not, yeah?
On the Serenity DVD,, there's an easter egg of the Fruity Oaty Bar commerical; if you don't know how to get to it, I'll tell you. Anyway, they have the whole oaty bar ad on there & I would really, really, REALLY like a MP3 of the ad's song. If anyone can pull it from the DVD & send it to me, that would be, like...super awesome.

So, how DO you get to the easter egg? I've got the DVD and can get to it really quick. Just lemme know.

When the main menu comes up, the selector button is on PLAY. Hit the left arrow button (or whatever button you use to move between selections) & you'll see the large triangle thing on the right light up. Hit enter (or OK or whatever). It's short, but highly amusing.

I'm gonna have to go home & try this one as well. There's an easter egg on the Firefly set, too.
I wouldn't go so far as to say NEVER. There isn't much these days that has NEVER happened before, particularly when it comes to the DVDs. It's true, though, there hasn't been much mention of the DVD easter egg lately. Back when the DVDs first came out, there was an embarassing bounty of both girlish and manly squealing about our fan boy Adam and the hat and the song and that shirt he wore.
Best easter egg ever. Makes me laugh and get misty in one felled swoop.
So here's how... Disc 4: Move the highlight down to "Joss Sings Serenity Theme" Move the highlight left One of the Script Icons will light up Push play Enjoy
So maybe we need the original "The Man They Call Jayne" in MP3 & Adam singing it as well.

I swear, a still shot of that little extra ought to be used for a CapCom someday...

Yes Kris, that is quite sick. But understandable, 'cause I've had that damn song stuck in my head all day!
However, I'm also smacking my head because I completely forgot that I shelled out some extra bucks for the "pro" version of a program a while back because it not only did screenshots (which I needed to do while playing a DVD), but it also could capture movie screenshots to the desktop.
So, I hereby present to you all the movie itself (QuickTime 7 is required; I needed to use the heavy-duty H.264 encoding to get the movie cut down to less than 10MB. The original capture was 100MB!)

I'm very tempted to set that as my ringtone. Does that make me a sick person or what?
Awwww yeah- I get my new Razr tomorrow too... The perfect song for Work on a phone.

Joss refers to him as "the extraordinarily shamed gentleman who did not eat the Fruity Oaty Bar," so I think it's safe to assume it's something along the line of "My life sucks & I'm a square becasue I never ate Fruity Oaty Bars!"
