It always gives me a fuzzy feeling when some of my favorite actors from cancelled shows find work. But this one's going to be especially interesting, because according to Gateworld, Morena Baccarin has been cast as Adria, the adult version of Vala's daughter (conceived by the Ori) and leader of the Ori invasion of our galaxy. She's apparently going to be a major recurring character.
Sweetness!

In terms of regular or recurring actors, we have Andromeda, Farscape, Enterprise, and now Firefly. The actress for Kaylee in Firefly was in a one-off in Atlantis from last year...
And the very nature of Vancouver filming means a TON of SF shows have come and gone in the past decade there. Highlander, Sliders, Viper, Mantis, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits... Any Canadian actor who's been in Vancouver will have been in at least a couple of 'em.

She's a regular on Alias. (For the last four or five episodes, but she gets to be in the opening credits, anyway.)

Oh, right. Also, there's Jolene Blalock as *gag* Teal'c's semi-girlfriend. But I try to repress my thoughts on those episodes.

Thta crappy Mutant X show and a bunch of "Buffy" like shows -Cleopatra 2040 ( whatever) was also done up there I think. That craptackular Highlander spinoff Raven was too, I believe. The Sentinel and Earth Final Cornflake were also part of that crowd.
Really, you'd thing the whole city was abandoned wharehouses that can explode without the police and firefighters showing up for....well, ever as the hero(s) make their slow, triumphant exit.
On another note:
Can someone please tell me why George Takei and Michael Dorn are in a low-budget sci-fi channel CGI-fest called A.I. Assualt? Are they really that bad at investing their money? Did they read the script and say "This is my chance to co-star with some WOTW knock-offs with Doctor Octopus arms! My dreams are finally coming true!"
I mean, fuck, are the Trek converntions paying that bad? Have all the royalties dried up or is it some mob-debt thing?

All of Jason's shows were filmed in Toronto, where it's actually WARM during some parts of the year, there isn't as much rain, and where more than pine trees can take root.
Oh yeah, and The X-Files. True story - in it's prime, when actors met each other in Vancouver for the first time, they used to say, "So, how'd YOU die on X-Files?"
