I...I don't even know what to say. Just read this news story.

BARBARELLA TO RETURN

Warner Bros. has acquired rights to the Barbarella comic book character and is planning a remake of the 1968 film in which Jane Fonda starred as the sexy 40th-century astronaut, Daily Variety columnist Michael Fleming reported today (Tuesday). The studio is reportedly negotiating for Drew Barrymore to fill the bill this time around. The earlier film featured a campy plot devised by the late screenwriter Terry Southern; however, Fleming reports that the remake will "drop the camp factor" and will remain faithful to the original Barbarella comics.
