She appears to be a JEdi and she appears to be wearing a Saber design used in Ep. 1. She may just be a background extra or something. I the woman wearing the costume is actually the extras casting director... just thought it was interesting.

Yes, different tones/hues have already been displayed, if we compare different blue sabres, for instance.
I can just imagine what the sabre-freaks said when watching ROTJ on the premier weekend in -83 was it?, watching Luke at the sarlacc-pit and seeing a green sabre! "Whoah, what the hell is that!? Can they do that? -Why not? -Yeah, why indeed. Cool!"

Well seeing as the green sabre had been displayed on most of the promo posters for about six months prior to ROTJ's release, we weren't really that surprised.
