Casualty being a sort of British E.R., btw.
I was flicking through the channels when I saw some old lady lying in the middle of the street(probably shouldn't have left that iron hanging off the wonky step ladder near the child's buggy, or somesuch) when the asian guy with long hair who I think used to be in This Life shouts "get back, R2-D2!", and he was talking to none other than the midget I forget the name of!!

They filmed one of their big-accidents-of-the-week down the road from my workplace last week. Character fell off a pointless footbridge to nowhere, that goes over a stretch of dual carriageway outside my office. Missed the actual stuntwork, that happened at the weekend, but I did drive past and see the extra/dummy/actor lying in the road, between takes. Was sorely tempted to leap out, pretend to be a real doctor, and administer first aid (that, or sneak out there in the middle of the night to perform some continuity-baffling alterations to the environs!).

Yes, him! I didn't watch the rest, so I don't know what happened, but he probably had some sort of deep seated psychological problem relating to his family, which was completely cured by a trainee nurse who gets too emotionally involved in her patients.
