As of June 21st, 2002, I've completed my training to be in the US Navy. I'm no longer a recuit thank god.
It'll still be a while before I can get on regularly though.

I had the possiblity of being a EW as well. However I picked Aviation Structural Mechanic (ASM) for some reason.
By the way Snay, first you go to Naval Boot Camp for about 9 weeks, then A-School 6 to 24 months depending on what you are doing, then you wait for orders to where you will be stationed. You are on shore for 6 months and 6 months out to sea. Then depending on how long you are signed up for, you are then in reserve for how long you signed up for (me: 4 years active, 4 years reserve).
Very good pay, for what you actually get to pay for. You get a home, no taxes, free transportation, free food, free clothing. And half the time you are out to sea so you can't exactly spend all that you made on various things such as a bar or something.
