I love it. Especially the side view. The kind of snub nose look is really unique.
Perhaps one suggestion... I wonder what it would look like with the nacelles angled upwards from the hull instead of going straight out to the sides. Just curious.
That is one sweet ship though.

Harry, that looks GREAT! Amazing! Incredible!
I'm not sure I like the elliptical shape of the saucer personally, but there's certainly nothing that says any TOS-era ships CAN'T have that shape. And it does make the ship look more distinctive, not to mention expanding the internal volume of the saucer without drastically altering the overall dimensions...
I like the little equipment bay in the aft undercut... I'm reminded of the Excelsior's open section there -- it looks like it's (partially) hollow to allow the mounting of large equipment pieces.
Structural comment: I like the horizontal arrangement of the nacelles as it is, but it occurred to me that they're not 50% line-of-sight. Also, though the impulse engines to make sense where they are (especially with those fuel tank bulges), I'm wondering if they might be better placed along the aft part of the secondary hull which would probably hold most of the engineering equipment -- especially considering that as a science-oriented ship, having more room in the saucer for the labs would be a Good Thing. (But you probably already have a different idea for the arrangement, of course!)
At any rate, nitpicks aside, I can easily see this ship as a contemporary or recent predecessor of the Constitution. Great job!

Personally, I love TOS designs. Great Job Harry. I can really appreciate originality and you have it. I can not wait to see the other ships you were talking about designing mentioned in the Misc. TOS Ships thread. Keep up the great work.

So, lets see one in 2500 scale, hehe. If that's a CAGE era ship, I wonder what the TOS era ship would look like. I tend to agree that angled necelles might be an improvement.

Wow. Very nice indeed. Fits in with Masao's Museum designs as well. Ahhh... continuety

Continuity with regards to the Musuem is of course not a complete coincidence. There's no need to invalidate Masao's ships.
Woozle: The S.S. Tromp is the TOS version.
MinuteaMan: The aft of the secondary hull already has a shuttlebay. I think the impulse engines are close enough to the secondary hull to have most of the machinery actually in there.

Well, if I recall the line correctly, only one continent would appear to be included. True, it could reasonably be either.

Nice ship, Harry. Weren't you the one complaining a few weeks ago that you were out of ideas?
I'd leave the nacelles where they are, sitting right above the saucer.
Some nitpicky drawing stuff You need a ring indicating the outer edge of the flat part on the top of the bridge (outside the dome). Also, some lines are needed to indicate the intersection of the secondary hull with the flat part of the big primary hull mound. Now you have them merging together with just a shadow.
If this is a science ship, maybe some more sensor panels on the flat part of the primary hull.?
I would also make the base of the main deflector more complex. Instead of just sticking the dish on to the hull, add some of those concentric rings. Also, since the mounting of the dish is in a little cave, you need to indicate the edge of hull at the cave opening and throw the cave into shadow.
The L-shaped things beside the bridge are located near the impulse deck on Enterprise, so I assume they have something to do with the drive.
For your ACI emblem, I suggest you open up the lettering a bit more, especially for "institute."
BTW: Your scale bar is confusing. It's labeled 50 meters, but is divided into four sections (of 12.5 m each?). Also, the abbreviation for meter is a lower case m, not a capital M (which means 1 million).
