You of all people should recognize a Yoda-ism. [Roll Eyes]

Global warming this, global warming that, blah blah blah. Did y'all know that during the previous interglacial the average global temperature was higher than it is now? Something to think about.

Much too much of global warming theory comes from computer models. In my experience, computer models crap out when trying to predict air flow over a wing, let alone trying to predict the behavior of a planet's atmosphere. Additionally, the changes in temperature that are supposedly due to global warming are so ridiculously small compared to the temperature fluctuations that nature itself produces over time that it's impossible to determine with any certainty how much, if any, of the variation is caused by humanity.

Mabye it's a desperate scam by the science community to, you know, stop the industrilized nations from destroying the planet.

A friendly moderator note: I consulted the oracle and she told me a thread arguing about the existence of climate change would rapidly become heated (the oracle attends an open mike night every other week, and frankly it's embarrassing for all concerned) and therefore be better suited to the Flameboard. So perhaps a spinoff?

Hey, mine if I borrow the oracle for a while? I've got some questions to ask it.

Actually I though the US govenment was now admitting that global warming was happening. Not that they are commting to any reductions or timescales on anything...
