Is "Lola" about an hermaphrodite, a transsexual, a transvestite, or just an unusually masculine woman? They don't really make it clear. I always assumed it was one of the middle two, given the lines "Girls will be boys, and boys will be girls; it's a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world...".
