Hey guys, I'm doing several illustrations of the various starship classes and want to include the class and type of the vessels. For instance, the Galaxy and Nebula classes are typed as Explorers, the Defiant is an Escort. I need to know the types for as many of the canon ships as you can tell me. If you don't want to take up alot of space on the thread with a big list, you can e-mail any info you have to [email protected].

Right now, I particulatly need to know the Nova Class (I think that would be a Science Vessel), the Intrepid Class, and the Sovereign Class.

Thanks.

*speechless*

Couldn't you just do a website on fluffy bunnies or something? There aren't enough websites on fluffy bunnies, in my opinion.

Avoiding the whole naval classification thing we'll never agree on, wasn't the Nova called a Science ship and the Intrepid a Scout? I'm not entirely sure whether those designations were used onscreen or not. . .

My God people, I'm new, have pity! Close the thread, CLOSE THE THREAD! I think I've started a major problem here. It turns out the type will be way too small and I don't want to go through the hastle of doing it. But for the record, the term Frigate has been used to describe the New Orleans class on screen, so I guess we have to accept it. Why is there a problem with this term?

There's no problem with the term, but it was caused some... interesting discussions.

Which we will not get into... right?

But discussing what we do know is always fine.

If you want to know why you shouldn't have mentioned this subject, refer yourself to this thread, and it's brief continuation here. I think you'll understand... :-)

No, in a word. It was a fairly crap ship. Therefore you can be sure it'll turn up in the Magazine in no time at all. . .

Why is it that we can't agree on topics like this?

Because we can't even agree what language they speak on Trek.
