I was watching Shockwave part 2 and I saw that they had a flag of starfleet. I coulden't make it out too well because I downloaded the Ep, Anyway this is what I made from what i can see from the video. I guess alot,but I sure theres a star in the center .

it looks to me like thats the united earth logo. .the part that would be the star is probably the major continents on a globe background, with the laurels around it

Looking at it, I can't really see that as being an equal five point star. It looks more like the old TOS command star to me, which would make a little more sense. I think I also see some smaller, thinner rings on the interior, similar to the UN logo.

Of course I remember that logo, I drew it, at least that B&W version of it. It wasn't a TNG logo, in fact it didn't turn up until the later seasons of DS9, season 5 or 6 I belive.
The command star isn't the old TOS delta but the little star that you can see inside it and it does indeed date back to before the 5 year mission, all the way back to "the cage".
That symbol was also seen on all command staff badges, from several ships throughout TOS so it would be plausible that the Federation Starfleet adopted Earth Starfleets old command logo as it's own Command/Ops department insignia.
