In the first part of this episode before Picard gets the Code 47, Riker calls him and tells him he hsa a Code 47. Riker was just on the bridge in the last scene, and the background didn't look like the bridge, and it didn't look like the ready room either, where was it?

ohh, I just watched that one, but I don't remember. I'll have to pop the tape into the VCR again when I'm at my Mom's tomorrow. Could it have been the Observation Lounge?

He IS on the bridge. Remember, Riker's in the captain's chair, and the angle is thus that the main stand of the tactical station is right behind him. To the right, you'll notice you can see the cushioned lower wall of those rear stations. [Smile]

oh man... I just recorded over it last night. Darn my failed memory of watching FamilyGuy episodes. --- It didn't look like the bridge for a couple reasons:

1) it was a solid wall
2) I thought I saw a monitor behind him
3) and the chair didn't look right to me

Oh well, it could be the fact that it was an early season episode, I've been thrown for years on how different the bridge was back then.

The 1st season bridge was pretty much the same though??

Conn and Ops seats were raised a little, Captain's Chair was changed and they added those two extra side seats. Oh and I think they layed new carpet.

The Boxy things at the sides are different and I think it lacked some detail on the front of the Tactical station

That was the lighting, rather than any paint job, I think.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

They did every season. And they also had some trouble covering the sain behind Worf's station where the Targ had a piss while shooting that Q-episode (according to the Companion).

Did they put new colored carpet down every season? I don't remember thinking, at the start of "BoBWII", "Oh, look, they changed the carpet in two seconds. Cute."

They might not have done it at the start of every season. They could have done the season 4 one while they were shooting family, or over Christmas. They did change it fairly regularly.

And they managed to build a new Big Ship Status Monitor Thingie in Engineering between BOBW I and II, so obviously someone on the ship had some spare time.

And is it just me or were the panels in the corridors in the first season a lot shinier?
