I dawned on me recently how Dark Knight does the image in the sig. When he posts, he inserts the "---" manually and pastes the sig manually every time he posts, and deselects "Show Signature."

He was the havey handed admin, doing the job for a long time, before I came here during DS9's 6th season. Charles fired him outta nowhere one day, for doing the same thing he had been doing all along. He fired Daryus at the same time, but reconsidered. Lee can post, but after being fired for little or no reason, has opted not to return.

Seems to me he was rather nasty to a newcomer who unintentionally spammed. Notice how many of the newcomers who unintentionally spam stick around now?

Charles still does the same thing. He may not be as bad as he once was, but berateing anyone who posted a web address was standard procedure here, till they decided to dump lee. I don't know what Frank is talking about in the above post.
I know one girl who wantd to start a mail E-mail group to discuss trek. I sugested she come here instead. She posted the E-mail address to be used for the group, and Charles jumped all over it, threating to complain to her ISP, and get her dumped. When I E-mailed him, telling him it was my fault, and that she didn't undrstand, he responded with a nasty e-mail to me saying that she was spamming and I could go away. As a long time member, I took exception to that, and left for a couple of weeks, then decided that I missed to many people here, then the whole thing with Lee blew up. If it were'nt for a couple of people, I wouldn't come here at all. Looks like Baloo is gone now. I haven't seen Monty in a while, if Liam, Zyial, First and Sol were to leave, I wouldn't have much reason to come here. No offence meant to the rest, but this is a very slow place, anymore.
