Cptn. America, someone by the name of Black Panther, Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer. I only really know the last one. Silver Surfer is the true king of cheesy lines [Smile]

I can understand someone not knowing who the Fantastic Four are. But someone who doesn't know who they are but does know who the Silver Surfer is is in a world where up is down and crazyness leads to carpet eating.

I don't know about the US, but the 90s Marvel cartoons were all fairly popular over here, and probably raised awareness of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk and Fantastic Four than the comics ever have (especially Spider-Man). But then comics don't really sell here at all.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Actually, considering the disturbing amount of star power that was behind the voices in that cartoon, a live action version with the whole gang back could be, well, interesting. Maybe that's not quite the right term.

Pornstar power... that's what it would take to make a Captain Planet movie economically successful.

I know Silver Surfer from his tv animated series. I do know Cpt. America from his few appearances in X-Men, but the Fantastic Four have not been in many episodes, at least not in the ones I saw.

Captain Planet... one of the few superheros funded by the government :S

if you really want a weird movie, do Captain Bucky O'Hare.

Wait a minute, what abouta big-budget CGI live action Thunderbirds remake [Razz]

STAR POWAR!11

LeVar Burton
Whoopi Goldberg
Edward Asner
James Coburn
Phyllis Diller
Jeff Goldblum
Helen Hunt
Margot Kidder
Malcom McDowell
Meg Ryan
Martin Sheen
Sting
Dean Stockwell
David Warner

Well, B-List all the way, but interesting. A lot of them seem to do "Additional Voices" which could mean 'Bathroom Attendant', I don't know.

Jeff Goldblum was "Duke Nukem", which is disturbing even though it's the not the Duke Nukem we all know and have slightly pacifist attitudes towards.

I'm glad you said that that's not the Duke Nukem. I was a little freaked out for a moment there when I saw that...
